Judith, a Carolingian princess in Ghent?

Reopen as a visitor a special “whodunit” that was closed in 2006 due to lack of evidence. The background of this compelling story: the Ghent Saint Peter's Abbey, once the final resting place of the Counts of Flanders. Archaeologists from the City of Ghent, historians and bio-anthropologists from Ghent University join forces and study grave S127, found during the construction of the underground parking garage.

Together with the researchers, you will delve into science and try to solve the puzzle of Judith's life, the king's daughter and first countess of Flanders. You will get to know the energetic Judith. A fascinating young woman who takes her fate into her own hands and makes a fist against her royal father. The research takes you back in time, to the treasure chambers and intrigues of the Carolingian elite and the maelstrom of family wars in which the county of Flanders was created.
